Where is learning for those who want comfort and where is the comfort for those who are keen on learning. Those who want comfort should forget learning and those who are desirous of acquiring knowledge should forget the comforts.

The quest in being my best involves listening deeply – to myself and to the world around me. How do I practice listening to what happens in me and around me, beyond the thoughts and speech? How can I discover and nourish the primal power that is inherent in me, so I can energize myself and the world around me?

The Practice starts from learning to listen deeply to my body and breath through Asana-prANAyAma; and extend this to observe myself beyond my body to my inner narratives and behavioral tendencies. While this is essentially an individual quest, the practice gets rooted and nourished when I join a group of practitioners in similar quest.

svAdhyAya for svarAjya

How can I be the change that I wish to see in the world? How can I facilitate my next generation to lead a more meaningful life?

svarAjya – building my capacity to anchor myself in my convictions, in the face of ever challenging contextual demands (and not become a mere victim of the situations), is the need of the hour today;

svAdhyAya – practices that enable self reflection, a deeper understanding of myself, is the way towards svarAjya.

The practice of yOga is NOT to Twist the Body, but to straighten the Mind.

Today yOga is generally understood to be one of twisting and balancing the body in some difficult postures. But the essence of yOga is much more than that. It is about understanding our own minds.

Healthy minds are essential for creating powerful individuals and a strong and resilient community.

The need of the hour is to take this expansive knowledge and practice to a large audience, especially the upcoming generation, so they can find real meaning to their life, rather than becoming just another cog in this modern , mechanistic world.
