restrict downloads

Can we have audio / video in the library, where we can restrict downloads even by members, even those who may have access to listen…

This is primarily for the dance class, where we can ask students to play audio from the site… so, we can upload the audio to one location in to the site… all students can have access to the file, can play it in the cloud, but can’t download… {}these audio/ video files are proprietary and we only give access to only those who deserve to have these}

    I do not know if it is possible. As it is the regular behaviour of a browser that one can download . But I will try if it is possible. I will speak to Sri also something this week to check if he know. So far, I have noticed that in WordPress, to play, it download to the system to play. But let me try. One possible option could be to upload the content to YouTube as YouTube puts restriction of download through their in-built functionality (though there are ways to do it) and we give link on our page to the YouTube. I have to see what information can we pass into YouTube to give access to only our Group Members to view instead of public.
