Only in imbalance can I discover Balance.

Being Attentive

Being Attentive is a simple idea, but requires consistent, long them practice. That is the real practice of yOga

Learning and Comfort

सुखार्थी वा त्यजेत् विद्यां विद्यार्थी वा त्यजेत् सुखम् ।।

Where is learning for those who want comfort and where is the comfort for those who are keen on learning. Those who want comfort should forget learning and those who are desirous of acquiring knowledge should forget the comforts.

Action borne out of Love

When my Action is borne out of Love, there is no burden of Duty;  By corollary, when my duty is burdensome for me, it is time to step back and wonder, if and where is Love in my action.

Listening to What Is

Getting entrenched in “What should be” blocks me from listening to “what is”; and thus, “What can be”.

Practice of yOga is to be able to see these, and so I have a possibility of getting liberated from my entrenchment.

 Sincerely Engaging

Engaging out of reactivity is not true engagement.

True engagement is a Quest; Arising out of deep love for the other, risking pain and failure.

Love

Love is not a mere feeling.

True Love is a feeling that propels my Action for the Other’s welfare.

Existential Conflict

I want the world to accept me as I am. In that, I am unaware that I am not accepting the world (the people with whom I exist) as it is/ as they are.

vaishnava janatO – Who is a true devotee?

वैष्णव जन तो तेने कहिये जे पीड़ परायी जाणे रे| पर दुख्खे उपकार करे तोये मन अभिमान ना आणे रे ||

If I can’t truly listen, understand and love the person in front of me, How can I claim to love the God, whom I can’t even see??!!

Practice of yOga

Practice of yoga is about observing the habituated pattern of my body, breath, thoughts and behaviour; Exploring possibilities beyond this habituated patterns, self limiting beliefs and assumptions.
